"Great company, excellent service. We contacted McDrake for a sunroom addition, that was completed about 2 months ago. We took time in doing this review to really fill out our new space. I can honestly say, we love our new sunroom. The gentlemen that built our sunroom is top of the line, their attention to detail is spot on. Our salesman Brett is very professional, what we asked for is what we got. Nothing was a miss. I had a water leak in a condo that I rent that caused an extensive amount of damage. The McDrake crew got in there and fixed the drywall that was damaged, laid down new flooring and carpeting and replaced a vanity all in a few days time so that the tenants could get back in there as quick as possible. They were professional and courteous and did a great job!

I came into the showroom and was surprised how nice and clean it was. I was getting my car serviced across the street. Once I walked in everyone was very nice and helpful. I will return soon to have them help with my flooring needs.

"Choosing a flooring and getting it installed by Carpet Hut by McDrake was a positive experience from beginning to end. Finding a real person (Michelle) when I called on the phone and needed store information and further floor advice was my first introduction to your business. That positive feedback was followed by a call from Veronica who answered my questions about possible floor choices and gave me lots of necessary information from which to start my decisions. It was those first, two interactions that made me choose to return to the showroom to find a product and schedule an inspection/measuring for the project. ALL of my many questions were always answered promptly by phone or email. Installation was successful--even though I got to meet more of your employees than originally planned! The floor looks wonderful, and the attention to detail from the floor craftsmen and Veronica's notes are evident everywhere you look. My parents were loyal customers of Carpet Hut from its start. I had an accident and broke a window on my neighbors sunroom. The people that installed it went out of business. MCDRAKE bought the franchise. So I called and talked to a very nice lady that sent me an Email with a forum to fill out for all the measurements required to look up the right window to order. So rather than Email back I took the pages of info back in person. I met Darrel and half the people there and all were very nice and behind helpful. Very knowledgeable about all aspects of what they do. He happened to walk to his where house and came back in a few minutes sans said he had one there and had to find out if it was for someone else or another job. He said he would talk to brother when he came back from a job they were doing and find out the info and would let me know. The next day he let me know I could come pick up the window. To my surprise he gave me the window for nothing more than to tell anyone that may need some work done to think think of them and possible let them give an estimate. They are a full service Remodeling company. You won't find any nicer people. So stop by there showroom and see all they offer , Carpet , kitchen cabinets and counters, wood flooring etc.

McDrake did a wonderful job on enclosing our back patio into a three seasons room. They were professional, competitive, and went out of their way to do extra things like mount a tv and heater. We love our new space - already used it for our daughters birthday party! We would definitely recommend and work with them on projects in the future.

"We were extremely satisfied with our bathroom remodel experience with McDrake. On their first visit to our home, they went through options that were possible for our space and how we could save on costs. McDrake holds the highest remodeling credentials, so they explain what is in code and safest for your home as far as the electrical, structural, and plumbing. This made it easier for us to form a plan and build an estimate for the job. The proposed estimate was very flexible for what options to keep or add too. Bonnie, the designer, was patient and very knowledgeable of quality materials, color schemes, and keeping us within budget. The choices in her inventory exceeded our expectations for tile, glass doors, and picking out the marble slab for our countertop. Cliff & his team performing the job were professional and finished within estimated time. They were flexible when we changed our minds on details, helped us make the best decisions, and we got more than expected as they replaced and refinished parts of the project not contracted. I believe this was due to a sense of pride in the quality of their work. I've never been more comfortable with an investment."

"McDrake Enterprises completed repairs on our home after a pipe burst and flooded our entire first floor. We are very satisfied with the skill and efficiency of the various contractors. The coordinator, Veronica Cooke was superb, coordinating all schedules, workers and delivery of materials, The contractors were courteous, timely and maintained a clean work environment before and after. "We had McDrake tear down our old, leaking sunroom, and install a new sunroom and deck. We also had them poor a concrete slab to put our new Master Spas H2X swim spa on. McDrake was absolutely awesome in designing the deck to encompass the swim spa, and even the installers of the swim spa were supremely impressed with McDrakes work. If anyone is looking to do any home improvements, inside or out, I give McDrake my highest recommendation!!!"

All the staff at McDrake Remodeling are attentive and helpful. They got our job scheduled and worked with us every step of the way, providing information and a timely completion to the job. We enjoyed working with them and will look forward to working with them again for our next remodeling job.

I went to McDrake looking for some hard to find lvp flooring. I was surprised to not only find that they handled that line, they had a match in stock. They have a very knowledgeable and helpful staff and I will be putting them first on my list for my next remodeling project!!!

"After receiving one estimate from another local flooring company that was much higher than expected and where I was warned of possible problems with installing LVP in our kitchen and porch, I went to Carpet Hut/McDrake Remodeling which had been recommended by a neighbor. From the moment I walked into the showroom, I knew this would be a different experience. Veronica guided me to samples that were similar to those in photos that I showed her, and when she came to measure the rooms, she brought a sample with her that she thought I would like. Ultimately, it was the flooring I chose. The estimate (several thousand dollars less than estimate from other company) was provided quickly and installation was scheduled soon thereafter. Before our installation date, Randy dropped by to check out the rooms. He foresaw none of the problems suggested by the first company. On install day, Randy and his team showed up promptly and got to work. In addition to doing a most professional job with the floors, they were friendly and polite. We are very happy with our new LVP floors and have received many compliments from neighbors already! and would highly recommend Carpet Hut to any looking for quality work, materials, and customer service."

My experience was very professional. Veronica and Angel were both competent and courteous in scheduling the carpet replacement and installation of my hallway and stairwell. The installers were prompt and efficient. I was extremely satisfied with the service offered by McDrake.

My experience with McDrake was really good. I asked for a 3-season porch and I received excellent service, construction updates, courteous tradesmen who skillfully performer their jobs. Victor and Craig made sure that I knew what to expect during the construction process and it took away any worries I had. My porch is gorgeous and has more room than I hoped to gain. They even used some pavers I had to give us a nice walkout. If you've considered having a Sunroom built, I recommend you give Mcdrake a call. There are no hidden costs to ruin your experience.

McDrake remodeled our existing sunroom by replacing our sliding glass doors with beautiful new windows and doors. I had them repair a minor leak between the house roof and the sunroom roof as well. Having been away from the Hampton Roads area for quite a long time we trusted reviews to choose a contractor to do this work reliably. McDrake met all my expectations, and were knowledgeable and friendly. I always received prompt response to any questions and inquiries. The work was done professionally and all debris was cleaned up and removed.

McDrake is great! They have fixed railing on my front porch and painted all wood areas. They remodeled a bathroom and made it accessible for my disabled husband. I have a beautiful sunroom done by McDrake. This year they ripped up old carpet and put down LVP. I highly recommend this company for any remodeling needs. Looking forward to working with them on my next project.
