This project was all about opening up the space, creating a clean, minimalist vibe, and incorporating plenty of smart storage solutions for our client, who loves to cook.

Open Concept Design with a Modern Twist

To achieve the open, airy feel our client was looking for, we removed a wall and relocated major appliances, giving the kitchen a whole new layout. The result? A spacious, modern kitchen that’s perfect for both cooking and entertaining. We also upgraded the lighting system, featuring recessed lights that can change colors—adding a fun, customizable atmosphere to the room.

Striking Contrast for a Bold Statement

One of the standout features of this remodel is the high-contrast design between the smooth, matte black cabinetry and the luxurious white Calacatta Miraggio Gold Quartz countertops and backsplash. This striking contrast creates a chic, elegant atmosphere, while the waterfall countertop and backsplash add a seamless, high-end look that ties the whole space together.

The flat black cabinet doors create a sleek, smooth surface, giving the kitchen a minimalist aesthetic that’s perfect for any modern home. The matte black finish not only adds elegance but also brings a touch of luxury, making this kitchen the ultimate space for entertaining and everyday cooking.

Warmth and functionality with LVP Flooring

To balance the boldness of the black and white elements, we installed LVP flooring in rustic Oak from Eastern Flooring Products. This flooring adds warmth and character to the room, ensuring that the space feels inviting and comfortable, despite its modern style. The durability of the LVP also makes it a practical choice for a busy kitchen.

Tech-Savvy Features and Smart Storage Solutions

This kitchen isn’t just beautiful—it’s smart and highly functional. We included several tech-savvy features, such as pop-up charging stations for easy device access while cooking or entertaining. Under-cabinet lighting adds both ambiance and functionality, with the added bonus of customizable colors to set the perfect mood.

Storage was a top priority for our client, so we included a “garage” for storing large cookware, keeping countertops clutter-free. We also created a custom nook for cookbooks and family recipes, a personal touch that adds charm and practicality. Above the stove, a custom shelf offers a perfect spot for storing spices, making them easily accessible while cooking. There’s even a custom sink shelf for organizing kitchen cleaning accessories—because every detail matters!

Farmhouse Sink and High-End Appliances

We elevated this kitchen with luxurious details like the farmhouse sink, complete with a glass rinser and waterfall faucet. These elements not only enhance the aesthetic but also add to the kitchen’s functionality, making everyday tasks easier and more enjoyable.

To complete the culinary look, we installed sleek stainless steel appliances, adding a professional touch that makes this kitchen a dream come true for any home chef. The combination of stainless steel and matte black creates a chic, sophisticated atmosphere that’s ideal for entertaining guests.
